P&D Motorcycles were the first shop in Victoria to stock the Leatt Brace. Phil and both our sons are in one and have been for 4 years now. As a parent its great to know that they are as protected as they can be out there and I know myself that I feel a lot better knowing that if they do have a crash the neck is now protected and any thing else that breaks is fixable. We always have both sizes with us at the races so you can always stop by and have a look at them or try one on.

If you are interested in more details give us a ring and we will answer any of your questions. We can ship one out to you via over night express. Once set up they are easy to use and easy to change if you do grow abit. All Braces come with 3 size pins and 3 levels of adjustment at the back also. We have delivered alot to the races and set them up and the riders have worn them in practice to start with and then racing as they feel comfortable from the word go.

The Leatt Moto GPX brace is especially designed for motorbike riders as the risks of injury are becoming greater as the bikes get heavier and faster.

I firmly believe that the Leatt is a proven winner. We have had a few back that have been damaged and they have been repaired and the riders (and Parents) were very thankful they were in the brace. To break or crack the brace it has to be a pretty hard hitting crash, if it cracks along the back part at the back of your neck it has defiantly done the job it is made for - protected your neck -.

The Price of the Leatt Braces are now

Adventure is now $359.00

Club back down to $578.00

Adventure is a cheaper version of the Club Brace. It is the same design and protection but if it is damaged in a bad crash it will be a throw away version. Meaning it isn't in sections that can be repaired like the original one is. But for those that are just starting out and as high a risk, the protection is still there for them.

We hear of people trying to save a dollar by ordering them in from the states or off e bay. Be very careful ordering these via the net, we have heard stories that people have placed orders and not seen the braces. If you get your brace sent and you ordered a Med but end up with a Small? The shop overseas won't worry about it. So you then have to try and send it back or sell it and try to get another.

We fit 50% of the braces we sell as we deliver alot of them to the races. The other 50% we don't fit is because we have mail ordered it but we try to catch up with the customer at a race and check it all the same.

The Biggest factor to take into consideration though is the fact you don't have warranty on any parts and you won't be able to get the brace fixed if you have a bad crash. The braces can be fixed if they break certain sections. They can strength check them and replace most parts, and get the brace back to you in a good turn around time so you don't have to buy a new one like you do Helmets when you have a bad crash in them. However if you don't buy one that's been imported into Australia via Cassons (the only importers of them ) you will not be able to get your brace fixed here in Australia (They have a record of every brace they have imported in and know by the serial number imprinted if it was brought here or overseas), and so you will have to try to send it back were you ordered it from etc.You could end up having to buy a new one as you might not be able to get it fixed. So it could in the long run cost you more money anyway.
