Brad has just moved up on to the YZ125. He will start off in C grade. This year we are going to be doing the Gippsland regional rounds so it will be a few new tracks for Brad to try. Profile

Brian Simcox
17 yrs   7/10/94  A Grade Lites

Last year Brian moved up to seniors. He had opted to stay in B grade and he had planed on doing the vic rounds and moving up mid year. How ever he spent most of last year battling with mononcleosis (Epstein Barr Virus) since mid Feb. He has worked hard with his specialist to not over come it (there is no cure) but to try and work with it and get back on the bike. He managed to do a regional rd and a few 2 day opens later in the year and his times and results were enough to get him moved to A grade, he is now working slowly on getting his fittness back to what it was last year and putting time on the bike. This year will still be slow going and he won't be able to put in as many races as he would like to as the virus is still there and develops in CFS(Chronic Fatigue Syndrome)at times

Phil Simcox 46 years old   YZ 125. B Grade

Phil used to race expert Enduro when he was younger, he hadn't had the opprotunity to do much MX, but when Brian started racing Phil thought he may as well compete also as he was there anyway.

Phil is a Level one Certified coach with the MV, so he not only works with Brian, but he also helps out quite a few riders in the area which keeps him busy.
